There was Square Enix Cosplay!
My friend has recently rekindled my love of anime by introducing me to Anime Premium along with an associated spreadsheet which we have to keep updated with which series’s we’ve watched!
Naturally the first series I watched was Digimon. I’m on series 4 at the moment, though I’m not enjoying it as much as I should. I can put up with the awful dubbing of 01, 02 and tamers, but as I never watched frontier when I was younger the dubbing is bothering me more than usual. Frontier is also the only Digimon series I’ve found subbed but my god one of the characters is annoying! I’ve also watched Midori days, even the manfriend liked that one, but perhaps it was the occassional boob that did it? Anyway. I’m currently watching Pokemon, which I’ve been putting on my phone to watch on my commute to work!
All this brings me to Hyper Japan, a weekend of anime, cosplay, manga, art and japanese food! excellent! We went on the Sunday and it didn’t disappoint! I only wish I knew where to find that Pikachu outfit because I so need it!
Japanese Magazine heaven! I don’t know enough kanji yet. You need to know around 2000 to read a newspaper. I know the days of the week!!
Half age girls….
Theres an anime version of me and Greg!
my haul! Tooth stickers, very work appropriate! A little ‘notebook’ that has different activies repeated on several pages. Its all to do with the zodiac. Though I’m still translating it! Fruits basket manga. Some teeny chopsticks for emergency meals. An egg shaper for my bento obession. Some badges, Nanoblocks, Pocky (the flavours greg didn’t want!) and the most amazing CD ever Maaya Sakamoto and Yoko Kanno. I’d never heard of the series but anything with those two in it has got to be good!
