The obligatory snow photo! This is what I woke up to this morning.

On Sunday Greg and I went to see the Chinese new celebrations in London. It was so exciting! It reminded me of when I was little in Singapore!

Sightseeing on the Thames Clipper

Country walks in Ripley.

Gigs in grimy pubs

Thoughtful candles.

Turning my desk into a Jungle.

This is Smudge, she doesn’t get nearly as much love as she deserves. Shes a very special cat. She never meows, only squeaks. Every single time you touch her, she squeaks or makes some sort of grumpy hrumph noise.
She’s been a very lonely cat recently and cries all night every night. So during the day she’s extra affectionate. She’s started giving me hi-fives and insists on holding my hand all the time. Its adorable if a little painful sometimes!
Better late than never!
The christmas tree
Family Trivia cards that came with the crackers! I got all the family ones, my mum won at food and my dad won at general interest!
Dinner on christmas eve. The most amazing fillet of beef!
I traumatised the cat on christmas morning. This was my first christmas without Prin.
Christmas cards/presents. Mog the cat!! best christmas present ever!
Christmas dinner with the Family.
My new second cousin. Its much better when you can hand them to someone else when they start crying!
Not pictured is me in various unflattering positions playing xbox kinect! So unsexy.
I’ve been learning Japanese. I’m not particularly good at it, I really need to do some for an hour every day but I’m just not that committed! I’ve just finished Hiragana but there are still a few annoying characters I get confused about! In particular ne (ね) re (れ) and wa (わ) not to mention sa (さ) and Chi (ち)!

A very nice Japanese friend of my mums has lent me some japanese books! Aimed at 7-12 year olds. They are hard! But I whenever I learn languages I always fall down on vocab so without further ado here is my first list of vocab to learn!
Its all very exciting, i’m just about to start Katakana so I can write english words as japanese, like カレーライス which apparently means curry rice. (ku-re-i ra-i-su – it takes a lot of imagination!!
